Welcome Message.

Welcome to the African Centre of Excellence on Technology-Enhanced Learning (ACETEL), a hub for innovation, digital transformation, research excellence, and capacity development through technology-enabled education.

Established in 2019 under the Africa Centres of Excellence (ACE Impact) Project in partnership with the World Bank and the Association of African Universities, ACETEL has grown into a leading centre for postgraduate training, research, and professional development in emerging technologies across Africa.

The Centre offers postgraduate programmes in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Management Information Systems, alongside professional and short courses designed to equip learners, educators, and industry practitioners with relevant digital skills for today’s knowledge economy.

Our work is driven by the belief that technology-enhanced learning can transform societies, bridge knowledge gaps, and promote sustainable development. Our research focuses on digital education transformation, AI applications, cybersecurity resilience, and innovation in public and private sector systems.
