The newly acquired bus of the Africa Centre of Excellence on Technology Enhanced Learning (ACETEL) is expected to enhance mobility, safety, being a branded bus as well as serve as a tool for advertising the Centre.
Centre Director ACETEL Prof. Grace Jokthan stated this while inspecting the newly acquired branded bus at the premises of the Centre at the headquarters of National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Abuja.
Prof. Jokthan added that the Centre has students on internship and part of the Centre’s mandate is the constant supervision of these students at various location in the cause of their internship. The bus will provide mobility for faculty that may need to go round as well as enables engagement with partners of the Centre.

“For conferences, workshops and seminars that we (ACETEL) organized, there is always the need for movements from one place to another. There is also the need when visitors arrive on learning and assessments visits, for pick up, drop up and also town runs with regards to the activities of the Centre.
“this will go a long way in ameliorating the stress the Centre goes through in providing these services to students, partners and faculty” the Director maintained.
